It’s Easy to Organize your Adopt-a-Day!

Habitat for Humanity Leeward Oahu offers large groups the opportunity to Adopt-a-Day, where a company or organization makes a financial contribution to sponsor a group of volunteers to help build a Habitat home for one day. Your group will work under the skilled leadership of our Site Supervisors on one of our houses in progress.

The Adopt-a-Day program is a great team-building experience for your organization. Also, an excellent way to introduce a group to Habitat for Humanity and our goal of building simple, decent affordable housing in partnership with families in need.

Adopt-a-Day sponsorships range from $1,000-$5,000. We encourage a contribution to support and acknowledge the efforts of the volunteers. All Adopt-a-Day contributions go towards supporting Leeward Habitat's mission to eliminate substandard housing on Oahu.

1)  Schedule a day for your group with the Leeward Habitat Office by calling (808) 696-7882. We recommend groups schedule their date at least four weeks in advance to ensure securing their preferred date.

2)  Make a team donation from your business or individual participants two weeks prior to your event. All checks should be made out to Habitat for Humanity Leeward Oahu.

3)  Come to the work site for an exciting day of building homes and feel good about the double service you provided toward making a family’s dream a reality.
